Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor is proving his fantasy worthiness through the first half of the 2013 NFL season.

Raiders head coach Dennis Allen has given Pryor the keys to the franchise and hasn’t looked back. Allen allows the former Buckeye to use his athletic ability to frustrate defenses and keep them on their heels. Under Pryor, the team is 3-0 at home.

Pryor leads all quarterbacks with 391 rushing yards and is averaging 7.4 yards per carry when he takes off. His willingness and ability to rush the football has kept him locked in as a solid bye week replacement, but owners might want to consider him for a more prominent role.

Pryor struggled passing the ball last week against a well-coached, tough Pittsburgh Steelers defense, but was still able to put up good fantasy numbers. After opening the game with a 93 yard touchdown run, Pryor was easily able to run for over 100 yards for the second time this season.

Next week Pryor will face off against a very giving Eagles defense that ranks close to the bottom of the NFL in nearly all defensive categories. This could be a great week to get Pryor in your lineups especially with 6 teams on bye weeks.
